Isaac runs home every day from kindergarten so he can check on his brother and give him loves.

Eliza loves holding the baby every chance she can get. Her favorite is to join mom and dad in the early hours so she can snuggle in with her little brother. Sometimes this allows for mom to actually get a hot shower.
Gideon and his cousin Mary Howell play together.
Danielle usually gets prime snuggle time after school and during family time.
Gideon is such a precious little boy.

The Spotlight Singers

My three oldest children have been in a fun Spotlight Singers choir this semester. The boys were not so sure how cool a choir would be at first but they really enjoyed it. All of the songs came from the 50's. The children did a performance at a local retirement home and then later in a large church. This video is Kyle in his first solo.

Finally taking the plunge!!

I have always enjoyed keeping in touch with friends and loved ones but never saw the personal value in a blog. I am so excited due to my computer savvy sister-in-law who has updated me on making a blog into a book. I feel a lot more motivated to post daily happenings now that I can save all the information in an archival book. Hooray for technology!!

Three weeks ago Gideon Stoddard Stevens joined our family on November 2. He was 7 pounds 5 ounces and 21 3/4 inches long. His entry into this world was smooth and safe and for that we are so grateful. My husband has always loved his unsung scripture hero Gideon and the name has been on the top of his list for all 5 boys. He finally got his Gideon, a strong and valiant spirit. Stoddard is a surname with a great heritage in the Skidmore/Cornell line.
