Pheasant Hunting

Scott was invited to go on a company pheasant hunting weekend in Washington.  Brian Bailey set up the men in a remote cabin on a private reserve.  They were able to hunt some beautiful and rare species that the private owner protects and raises.  Scott enjoyed the outdoors and company.  He was taken by the beauty of the pheasants but has much less desire to hunt then in years past.  

The mighty hunter came home with enough meat for our family and a nice meal.  It is always a treat to enjoy the outdoors...I am glad this was a "boys" weekend though.

Halloween 2012

Halloween 2012 included a Super Hero Doggy, Harry Potter, a Pioneer Girl, a Cook, Flashdance Dancer, Nacho Libre Super Ninja Hero, and  Army Guy 101! 

Scott met us at Adam's Elementary for a Halloween party.  Thomas and Gideon wanted to stay in the gym until they won the cake walk.  They won a hefty amount of sugar and then moved on to the game rooms.  The school did a fantastic job organizing the whole party.

Later that evening we went over to our good friends house for dinner and trick o' treating.  The older kids made their way down the famous Warm Springs Rd. and the younger kids stuck together running around the neighborhood.  Scott stayed with our three youngest and boy did they find big quantities of LOOT!  It was a good time for all, including the adults having yummy food and conversation.
